Opposite angles -- they are oppistite sides from each other

Adjacent means next to and vertical is opposite sides.

Vertical angles are the same as opposites. Opposites are on the opposite side from an angle. An adjacent is next to but not the hypotenuse the hypotenuse is the diagonal line.
