This person is amazing. It is so inspiring that she was deaf and can sing awesomely. It is cool how she cam feel the tone from her feet. Not to mention her singing voice was great. What a person she is. I am happy she got the golden buzzer because she deserves it.

I actually watched this before a long time ago. This is so inspiring and it encourages people to never give up. It's also sad that she lost her hearing but that didn't let that stop her. She sings better than Ariana Grande!

I think that if you give up you should keep trying till you get it right. Sometimes it takes practice just keep trying, Mandy Harvey went deaf but she didn't give up she figured out a way to get past her problem and fix it!

how i think this video speaks to us as a class is that we should never give up even if things get hard or things don't always happen the first time we try. we should acknowledge that people like mandy who are deaf or blind never give up because they want to continue there life even if there different then others.

I watched the video once and I listened to it closely. Her song was all positive. I got shocked how she could feel the rhythm with her feet. I never saw anyone this talented. It inspired me to never give up in any difficult situation.

I think this speaks to us as a class because some want to give up others push them selves to hard and become quiet and upset. We need to TRY an work together. We need to TRY to do our best, and to work together and not to give up the second we don't do good. If you haven't realized, half the people who actually keep trying have around half the more chance to improve then other's who don't try and don't care. You have this privilege, too to school unlike others and you don't try? So as a class, we can help eachother, explain to eachother what other things mean instead of being rude to eachother.

That is so inspiring that she is deaf and she got Simon out of all judges golden buzzer. I wonder how long it took her to learn to feel the vibrations and know what sound it is makinng. I also wonder if it is hard to learn sign language when you can't hear anything. But wow Simon's golden buzzer that is impressive!

This speaks to us because she gave up at on point, but she kept going because she realized that disability is an ability. I love her singing voice and I think it is awesome she can trust herself with her pitch and only feel the vibrations from her toes. Her song really speaks to us because it shows how hard she tried.

I think it is amazing to think that someone who is deaf can do something like that. I don't mean to be offensive but I feel that a lot of people give up when the come to even a small challenge and she overcame one of the biggest challenges imaginable. We all need to just try and we can do anything we put our mind to. This story about how she gave up and realized that she wanted to do more in her life than just give up is inspiring to me because it showed me that I have it easy and I complain all the time when she has it extremely hard but still manages to persevere through it all. I want to be more like her in the sense that she never gives up and I think we all do. We really should acknowledge the people who are different from us and how they have the most bravery and courage to never give up.

This woman is so a amazing I love her song I listen to it a lot. I think it is so sad she lost her hearing I mean she can’t hear her singing. I think she definitely deserves that golden buzzer. I can relate to her because I also don’t want to give up even though we go through hard times we can’t just give up. Like the song said The sky is gray more than it is blue . Days can be hard.I really love this song

This video tells us that giving up is not a choice you want to accomplish. The deaf singer lost her hearing at 18 years old, but she got the rhythm by her feet and accomplished her goal and made it in to the Americans got talent. She even got a golden buzzer by Simon who thought she did a very nice job during her singing and her lyrics were really meaningful to her childlife and hood.

This woman is unbelievable. She is deaf while she can sing. I really liked her singing a lot. She deserves a golden buzzer. A lot of people quit when they think they are bad, this lady instead never quit and she continued her journey with singing. One of these types of videos, someone tell them to stop and think about good things and not to be scared. Then she sang beautifully. If it were me singing, i do not think i would do good. We should watch more videos of this in class of bravery instead of being scared. I would even love to be her one time.

This relates to our class because we have to try. Even if something is really hard you have to expect being pushed in hard work. Also if we don’t try we can’t do anything in life. This person really tried super hard they couldn’t even hear themselves! I think they deserve the golden buzzer because they tried super hard and it inspired many people

This video relates to our class because the deaf singer didn't give up even though she was deaf. This means that she kept trying her best even though it was hard. We want to quit in class and in hard times, but that won't lead to our accomplishment and it will just get worse and you won't learn from your mistakes.

I think that this is very amazing, because somebody who is deaf can't hear themselves, which actually makes singing extremely hard because you don't know if you are singing in the right pitch, or anything. The fact that she got the golden buzzer makes it all the more amazing, because her disability made it hard enough to sing, but she could sing so well (even when she's deaf) that she won the golden buzzer. Many people who are phenomenal haven't even gotten the golden buzzer, yet Mandy did, even against her disability.

I think that this video is very amazing, because Mandy is able to sing so amazing, even when she is deaf. Singing while you can't hear yourself is actually extremely hard, because you don't know whether you are in the right pitch or anything. Mandy was able to sing very well and even get the golden buzzer, which many people with amazing talents can't even do, even without disabilities (not to be rude), yet Mandy did, even against her disability which made her performance all the more harder.

I really like how she could just know how she was singing because of the vibration on her foot I think that’s a really cool skill because she needed it because she was deaf.

I think that the fact Mandy got the golden buzzer by singing even when she is deaf, is truly amazing, because when you sing, you should be able to hear yourself to tell whether you are in the right pitch, or tone, and Mandy couldn't do any of that, and she was still able to put on such a phenomenal performance. Many people with truly amazing performances weren't able to get the golden buzzer, yet Mandy did, against her disability.

I think that it is truly amazing that Mandy was able to get the golden buzzer despite her disability, because she was able to put on such a phenomenal show even with something that makes it SO much harder to sing, because if you cannot hear yourself, you never know whether you are in the right tone, or pitch, so you can't know if you are singing the song right, and Mandy was able to do something that millions of people couldn't, even with her disability pulling her down the whole way. It is truly impressive that Mandy could sing so amazingly, without even being able to correct herself, and what's even more amazing is that she didn't even have to.

I think that this video is truly amazing, because Mandy was able to get the golden buzzer, which many extremely talented people with incredible performances were not able to do, yet Mandy could, even with her disability pulling her down the whole way through. It truly is amazing how Mandy was able to put on such a fantastic show even despite her being deaf, because to sing well, you need to be able to hear yourself, so you can tell whether you are in the right tone and/or pitch to sing well, and Mandy was not able to do any of that, yet she was STILL able to put on such an incredible performance! Mandy was able to sing better than many other singing performances I have seen, and that really is amazing, because she can't even HEAR herself to tell whether she is singing right!
