I watched this video many times on America’s Got Talent and I never understood how the song Mandy sings has a lesson to it until now. I listened to the words in her song and in her case, this song is about a really sad time in Mandy Harvey’s life. But, this song can be useful to all of us. This song is about trying. It may not sound like a song by Taylor Swift, but the words mean much more...TRY.

It's amazing how Mandy is a deaf singer but shes not letting her disability stop her from following her dreams. Another amazing thing is that she got the GOLDEN BUZZER by SIMON COWELL the hardest judge to please and she did it! Mandy is very talented and she deserved the golden buzzer!!

I think this video is very inspiring to people, because despite Mandy's disability, she was still able to sing extremely well, so well to the point that she got a golden buzzer. The reason that this is so amazing is that singing that well is hard already, but being able to do that when you're deaf is phenomenal, because you cant tell if you are in the right pitch, or using the right voice, and despite all of that Mandy was able to sing that well. She was able to win the golden buzzer, which many people without disabilities (not to be rude or anything) can't do! Mandy's story is very inspiring because she was able to do an extremely hard task even with something pulling her down, and she sends a great message, which is... TRY!
