1 similarity I found in the video between hurricanes and tornadoes is tornadoes and hurricanes are serve storms but in their own special way. 1 difference between the two is tornado cause the death of 1000 every year and hurricanes only cause 10. Another difference is tornadoes are hard to predict but hurricanes are easy to predict.

One similarity between hurricanes and tornadoes are they have strong winds. A hurricane's wind can reach 150 miles per hour while a tornadoes' wind can reach up to a whopping 350 miles per hour. One difference between the two is the most occurring times in a year. A hurricane will typically happen 10 times a year, but tornadoes usually happen 1,000 times a year! Crazy right? One last difference is the predictability. Meteorologists can normally predict when hurricanes will happen, but it is a little more difficult to predict when tornadoes will happen.

The differences are hurricanes cause flooding from the heavy rains but happen only 10 times a year. But tornadoes has very fast wind speeds and they happen a lot more about 1000 tornadoes a year. The similarities are they both caused a lot of damage.

A similarities is they both have big damage. Tornados have stronger winds. Hurricanes have bigger destruction. Tornados kill more people then hurricanes because tornadoes happen about 1,200 times a year while there are about 10 hurricanes a year.

One similarity is that hurricanes and tornadoes both have strong winds (sometimes both have rotating winds). Two differences are that hurricanes can be huge (bigger than states sometimes, according to the video), and most tornadoes aren't very big. Another difference is that tornadoes don't last very long, while hurricanes can last for days (possibly weeks). I was really surprised with how tornadoes were worse than hurricanes in some areas. I knew that tornadoes had stronger wind, but I didn't know it that they were 200 miles per hour faster! I was also surprised that tornadoes do more harm than hurricanes, I thought hurricanes would definitely do more harm, since they are a lot bigger and last a lot longer. Tornadoes are a lot more dangerous than I thought!

Tornadoes and hurricanes have many similarities and differences. One similarity I found is that they both have strong winds, although tornadoes have stronger. Another similarity I found is that they both are dangerous in there own ways, even if one is more dangerous than the other. One difference I found is that hurricanes happen less often than tornadoes. Something else that i found was interesting and a difference is that the cost to patch up all the damage of a hurricane is more than all of the tornadoes.

Hurricanes and tornadoes are both very destructive and devastating storms that happen each year. Tornadoes happen more often than hurricanes. Tornadoes happen about 1000 times each year while hurricanes only happen about 10 times each year. But hurricanes cause more destructive because of their size. People come back to their houses only to find that it is completely destroyed. Sometimes people need to rebuild cities. I am grateful we usually don’t get these kinds of storms around here.

Hi Mr. Meyer! This video was great. I think one similarity is that hurricanes and tornados both cause lots of damage. Two differences are tornadoes hapen more than hurricanes, and hurricane damage costs a lot more money than tornado damage. I had a great TWOS day and I would reccomend it for another year, but we won't have a twosday anytime soon. I had a great TWOSday with these TWO topics.

A similarity with a hurricane and tornado is that they are both really strong and dangerous storms.

Both are dangerous storms. But Tornadoes have faster winds then hurricanes by 200 more miles per hour, and Tornadoes are more harmful to people then hurricanes.

Both storms have extremely strong winds. Two differences are that tornados happen much more often than hurricanes, they are also much harder to predict creates more harms to humans.

The similarities between this is that they are deadly storms and could cause` a lot of deaths. Hurricanes can go about 150mph. Small tornadoes can go up to 350mph which is crazy. A normal hurricanes wind is much slower than a small tornado. The difference between both of them is 200mph more which is crazy. Tornadoes can cause more deaths to people because we have them almost every year. He says we have over 1000 tornadoes every year which is a lot. We have 10 hurricanes every year. Both tornadoes and hurricanes can destroy places and people have to rebuild their houses because they lost everything in their house which they have to rebuild. In conclusion, both hurricanes and tornadoes do a lot of damage to the earth.

First off, tornadoes and hurricanes have something in common. They both have their own ways of being lethal. They both have high winds. Next, there are some differences. Tornadoes are smaller than hurricanes. Hurricanes are rare, while tornadoes are more frequent.

One similarity that both tornados and hurricanes have is that they are both destructive storms. Another similarity is that they both harm many people every year. Their differences is the power of their winds, tornados having stronger wind then a hurricane, and that tornados also happen much more often then hurricanes.

Hurricanes can last for days or even weeks. Tornadoes usually last no more than a few minutes. Hurricanes are hundreds of miles with high winds and heavy rains over the entire region.

One similarity is that they both have incredibly fast winds. The first difference is that Hurricanes are more destructive and lead to a lot of damage to homes all the way to cities, they often do not occur as much. The second difference is that Tornados harm more people and they happen or occur all of a sudden, they also happen very often .

Tornadoes and Hurricanes are both very strong and deadly natural disasters. But, Hurricanes are much bigger than Tornadoes. They also cause more damage. But tornadoes has stronger winds and harm more people. Those are the similarities and differences about Tornadoes and Hurricanes.

Before watching the video, I thought for sure hurricanes were more dangerous, but after watching, it makes me realize just how dangerous they both are (especially tornadoes)! I knew that hurricanes were big, but I didn't know just how big they were. According to the video, hurricanes can sometimes be bigger than some states! I also knew that hurricanes and tornadoes had really strong winds, but I never knew that tornadoes had winds up to 200MPH faster than hurricane winds! I also thought that hurricanes would do a lot more damage than tornadoes, since hurricanes last days, possibly even weeks, while tornadoes last only minutes at a time! Tornadoes are a lot more dangerous that I thought!

A difference is that tornadoes are just air and hurricanes have wind and water. a similarity is that they both have strong winds. Another difference is tornadoes can be harder to predict than hurricanes.
