That is literally so cool. I wonder how that happens. Does the rock do something? How does the water sink in that one spot? I have so many questions that i want to be answered. How does the ice only melt in that one [or many if there are more of them] spot!

this is when a rock is put on a frozen lake when the ice begins to melt around it the ice below the rock does not because the rock keeps the ice from melting so it holds up the rock.

I think that this is soooo cool how to rocks just float like that. I think I may have a theory behind it. I think that both the rock and the water have a negative magnetic charge in them. When there is 2 of the same magnetic charges, they repel. So I think that the rock and the water have a negative charge in them, witch makes them repel, and float.

I believe that the rock is frozen over the lake by water. A theory is that the rock was somehow dropped into the lake or ocean or whatever, and broke the ice. Then, because it may be in Antarctica, it froze very fast when the rock came up slightly, so it froze over and the rock stayed there. Then maybe the penguins can use them as stepping stones! Another idea I had was that the rock was originally sitting on an ice lake, and the sun melted the ice lake, which refroze after some time. Since the rock was shading some of the ice, it stood up and gave an effect of water stuck on ice water.

I think it is pretty cool how the rocks look like they float. It’s like they are levitating. I wonder how the water and the rock position like that. Did it freeze while falling? I think maybe the place was so cold or so small that it freezes almost instantly.
