The thing that suprised me most was that it all started because a little kid was killed by a customs officer. Imagine witnessing that! A country "keeping the peace" is more in the wrong than the colonies they're controlling. The stuff in the wrong was whoever yelled fire intentionally wanted to kill or seriously hurt the whole crowd. Also, the customs officer who killed the 11 year old boy fired at the kid. Also, does anyone know who yelled fire? Lastly, I liked how John Adams, although he fought against the stamp act, still thought everyone deserves a defence. I am sorta upset that John's biz took a huge hit because it showed how good he was in being a lawyer.

What surprised me was john adams was able to prove the colonist had brought weapons! I always thought the soldiers were guilty but I realized the colonist wanted to harm to redcoats or "lobsters". I was so surprised that john adams could do that. All that I thought john adams did in the 18th century was lead the new nation 1797 to 1801. But he did more. I thought bringing weapons to a protest was wrong but i thought it was more wrong that some idiot in the back yelled fire and when i saw that i was like what the heck just happend? Also why did they fire to begin with? Is there commander like worshipped by the 4000 soldiers in colonial Boston? I have a lot of questions but a lot of answers are still unknown. Also why on planet earth would you throw rocks at someones house? There is way better ways to protest like stupidly draw on there door. And because of the colonist stupidity a 11 year old boy was killed R.I.P. Also they all should have been sent to jail. the colonist TRIED to harm them but they actually DID harm them. So they should ALL face jail time. I really hope this comment isn't on my permanent record because i dont need anyone on college calling me a "loyalist" Because i think separating was a GOD SQUAD!!!!!! idea. We should have done it sooner. Now I think that commander dude was lying saying he wasn't gonna fire because I JUST KNOW. He said since he was in the line of fire he was not going to but i bet his plan was to hop away then yell FIRE IN THE HOLE!!!!!!

This video was histaricaly historical. I was surprised that a kid died in the Boston Massacre. I never knew that a kid as old as I am died in a shooting. I think that the British were in the wrong because they were looking on the wrong side of things. They needed to develop some common sense. The person who shouted fire should be ashamed for technical murder. He confused soldiers to fire to shoot a "famous" person and others. I believe he is the wrong.

I was very surprised while watching this video! I was surprised that the colonists were actually already given many rights by the British. They got lower taxes and more freedom. Britain even fought a war for them! Also, I was also surprised with the number of witnesses that provided information on Adams' case. There were so many people there! Wouldn't more people have opposed against the soldiers, or even defended them alongside Adams? I'm also surprised that despite the tension, many people were on both sides of this massive argument. John Adams fought for the revolution, and once defended British soldiers. Captain Thomas Preston also, was a British soldier, as well as helped in the revolution. In conclusion, many things throughout this video surprised me.
