Have you ever payed attention to how much climate change is affecting the environment? In this text the author uses details such as if we don't change soon we will be in trouble, worse storms and more flooding, to show the main problem of the text which is that our world is in danger.

i believe the problem is that sense we don't take care of our planet, so now that is causing problems. for example now the ocean absorbs heat which then melts ice bergs that transitions to higher ocean levels. i know this because, in the text it states that if ice bergs melt it causes the oceans to become higher. also it says that, when the ocean is warmer it will make it more acidic which will make it hard to live in for different ecosystems

I read the climate change text. The problem in this text was that oceans are heating up and melting our ice. The oceans keep warming up and making the ocean acidic making sea life harder to thrive. The animal life in the ocean could drop as much as 15%. WOW😮. The ocean keeps absorbing the heat therefore heating up the ocean. This is making moutain glaciers melt.

The main problem in the artical was climate change, greenhouse gas, and fossil fuels. In the text, climate change rising... the main problem is that we are burning fossil fuels and greenhouse gases, because of climate change, the oceans are getting warmer and rising higher. One example from the text is "Carbon dioxide is a greenhouse gas. It's created by burning fossil fuels, such as coal and oil, for power. When too much carbon is released, the Earth's atmosphere traps more and more heat." So that is also why the ocean is getting warmer and the oceans water level is rising.Another example is he study on oceans and ice, released September 25, comes close on the heels of the U.N. Climate Action Summit in New York City, which failed to bring about promises from the countries that cause the most pollution

Climate change is creating big problems. One of the few is "King Tides"."King Tides" are creating flooding in areas. It says in the articles,"...people sent in images of flooded parks and freeway underpasses." Another problem "King Tides" are causing is that they have killed people. It says in the text, "...massive swell that sucked a man and his two young children out to sea. The woman who called 911 had been photographing the tides from her yard for the Oregon King Tides Project. The children, ages 4 and 7, died." In conclusion Climate Change and "King Tides" are causing big problems around the world.

I read the "king tides" artical, and the main problem is that a lot of farms beaches, and coastal communities are being flooded. In the text it says "The images of flooding are helping governments and scientists. They use them to better predict what rising sea levels will mean for coastal communities." It also says, Many city governments are planning for climate change. That means people are trying to help now.

I feel that the main problem of the text, "Climate Change Raising the Oceans" is that climate change/ global warming is melting ice, making the oceans warmer, and destroying our planet. I know that global warming is badly effecting our planets oceans in varies ways. The oceans our rising due to patches of ice melting which can lead to storms and people houses near the beach getting flooding and getting destroyed. Additionally, because the oceans are getting warmer and warmer, sea life including coral, and life that can only survive in cold temperatures will not be able to handle the change in water temperature, leading them to die and possibly go extinct.

Did you know that climate change is shifting the temperature in the sea? That is a huge complication! I know that if the temperature changes a lot of the species population will decrease. Also Carbon dioxide is a greenhouse gas. It's created by burning fossil fuels, such as coal and oil, for power. When too much carbon is released, the Earth's atmosphere traps more and more heat. So we need to take action quick because there is not much time, Helping the earth doesn't even cost a dime!

I think the problem is climate change is happening all over the world and the effect is oceans are reaching way to high temperatures . First of in the text it says "Over the next 100 years climate change will make the ocean warmer and more acidic which makes it harder for sea life to thrive" 100 years may seem like a long time but it will come so fast and we will be suffering . In addition in the text it says 'carbondixde is a greenhouse gas" This can strongly effect the ocean and make the sea level temperature higher

In the text about rising sea levels, I think the main idea is that if we don't start changing, we will be in trouble and we need to start taking action. First of all, the text states all of the problems happening from the ocean rising, all the side affects and troubles from the ocean levels rising. Next, the text shows solutions on how we can get back on track before it's too late to change all the problems. In conclusion, the text is showing that we will be in trouble if we don't take action soon.

I think the main problem of the passage "Climate change raising the oceans, making them warmer, new report says" is the climate is making our oceans rise. I think this because in the text it says " climate change will make the oceans warmer and more acidic, which makes it harder for sea life to thrive." It also says "Melting ice sheets will drive up sea levels quickly."

Climate change is effecting us heavily and quickly. First, the ocean gets warm, witch then starts to melt the ice, witch is supposed to reflect sunlight, therefore, making the ocean warm up quicker and have less reflection of sun rays. As a result, the ice melts into water, and gets added into the ocean, rising sea levels. some statements from the passage is "In the worst-case scenario, where parts of the Antarctic ice sheet start to collapse, we could be in for as much as 17 feet of sea level rise by 2300. That would probably outpace society's ability to adapt, Oppenheimer said." The reason why it is a big problem is that some states can flood under the ocean and kill more then 5,000,000 people wit the floods. Overall, rising sea levels are brutal to our lives, all because of climate change, caused by us.

Did you know that our oceans are heating up like a pot of boiling water. It is getting warm which, causes the ice and snow to melt and that is not going to well. Green house gases are made of fossil fuels when to much of the gases get into the atmosphere it starts to trap more and more heat. Scientist think that the water will rise and in 2050 people will live on the coast which is bad news. We need to stop the water from rising by not using fossil fuels instead we could use solar energy to work factories, because fish are dyeing and the water is rising. In conclusion we need to think of our world and do what is best for future generations.🚗👶

I read the climate change article and I think the main idea of it is how climate change is raising the sea levels and making the ocean warmer. I the ink this because when to much carbon dioxide is released in to the air the atmosphere traps more heat in which effects the sea... to be continued

I think the main idea is global warming is warming oceans and the sun is melting ice because there is not a lot of snow. In the text it says that "Over the next 100 years, climate change will make the oceans warmer and more acidic. My second detail is "warmer oceans will harm delicate ecosystems."

A problem is people were getting sucked in the high tides. 15 - 20 foot waves and a swell. A woman called 911 after photographing the waves because two kids ages 4 and 7 died due to the swell.

The main problem is that with all of the flooding people are not safe because of how high the waves are. And since the waves are so big, two kids and their dad got sucked in and the children did not survive. people are losing their family members because people are not helping climate change.

I think that the main problem in climate change raising the oceans making them warmer is climate change is effecting oceans. I think this because in the articular it talks about how in the next 100 years climate change will make the beautiful oceans warmer, which will make it harder for sea life to flourish. The sea level will rise because of the warming of the ocean. Humans need to help with climate change.

Have you ever heard of a king tide? The author uses details to show the main problem of the text. The author uses details such as rising sea levels, and how climate change will affect us to show the main problem that climate change can make the flooding worse.

I think that the main problem is that oceans are getting warmer and acidic because of climate change. I think that because in the text it says,'' Over the next century, climate change will make the oceans warmer and more acidic, which makes it harder for marine life to thrive.'' It also says,'' Since 2006, sea levels have risen at a rate of 0.14 of an inch per year. That's more than double the rate over the previous century.'' I know that the seas are going to be very high in a few centuries because in the text it says,'' Seas are rising at one seventh inch a year, which is 2.5 times faster than the rate from 1900 to 1990.'' In conclusion people ( Especially adults) have to step up and and do their part to stop climate change or our oceans will be very warm an acidic.
