Did you know that Rube Goldberg was a cartoonist? The Rube Goldberg creation was invented because he wanted to make a self-operating napkin! He was a sculptor, author, engineer, and inventor. He wanted to also make a simple task be completed through a complex machine. He created “Convoluted Execution of Simple Tasks." In these videos, they show different ways of Rube Goldberg invention. They give examples of a complex project. For then project. I think we should make a Rube Goldberg to turn on the faucet on the sink in the classroom.

I know that the Rube Goldberg creations had to be very precise, because I saw in the Honda video, a very pointy thing under the big tube. This shows me that they had to film many videos, and recorded until they had it "on point*" In the other one, the baby probably was very annoyed to keep doing the phone thing again and again. I know this because when you do things, you need practice to make things perfect, even though all things aren't perfect.

Those videos are very cool! The Cake Server one is my favorite because of how complex it is. Yet both videos were doing one simple task; serving cake and closing the trunk of a car.

I think that it is really cool to see the Honda cog because it is a kermershol and it represents all of the stuff that the car has like the seat the shield and it shows all of it. I also like the cake because it has first him eating dinner then the other cool things come in the glass breaking was a little scary but then the cake came down it was cool. It reminds me of dude perfect with the Oreo.

I notice these machines have to be very exact because its a chain reaction. These must be very hard to build and operate. I saw both videos and they were the same cocept; doing a simple task.

I don't know if you realized that their was a chucky toy thing in the background, but i saw it. I think that Mr.Meyer (YOU) should continue Rube Goldberg projects. This is great, but the diagram part isn't the best. I think that you you should make us write (OR) draw it. Th cog video wasn't s interesting to me as the cake server because the common goal and process was way to car related. Is that guy okay because that cake look un-realistic.

These are so cool! I love how it throws the cherry onto the cake! I also like that the little kid gets a slice. This machine is so complex, it probably took him days to plan and even longer to build and test. It took us a while and our machines were like one hundredth of the size!
