When you divide a exponent by a decimal you move he decimal to the left. When you multiply a decimal by a exponent you move it to the right.

When you are dividing a decimal by a power of ten you just have to move the decimal the amount of the exponent

When you are multiplying, the decimal goes to the right. When you are dividing decimals, the decimal goes to the left.

This is helpful son because before watching this, I Got some of the exponent questions wrong last year. I used to take the zero from the 10 too. Now I know that I have to only put the zeros from the exponent on my number that is being multiplied by 10 with an exponent.

10^6 is 1 with 6 zeros. The power of 10 is the number of zeros.
