Those bags are very ecofriendly because the are made out of a plant's roots. There is more! The bag replaces plastic so it helps with littering in the ocean. If it is plastic it would probably end up being thrown into the ocean. When it gets thrown into the ocean animals might try to eat it. The marine animals would get injured or sick. That is very bad.

This new bag is good for aquatic life because unlike plastic it breaks down easily and it will cause less plastic in the ocean. This way, the sea animals will not get sick, hurt, injured, or trapped. You can even drink it! This is a very creative idea.

Hi 5me of 2017-2018 and Mr.Meyer. 5th grade is the best year to work hard so the middle school does not seem so hard but don't worry middle school is not hard but fun. Anyways, Mr.Meyer is 10 percent hard work and 90 percent FUN and amazing. He might work you but you will still have tones of fun. You probably already agree with me that Mr.Meyer is the best teacher ever but you if you do not you will soon agree. You are going to have the best year. Good luck and have fun.

I think it is so cool how people decided that they are going to make a bag out of vegges instead of plastic. It is insane who someone or a creature can eat it and nothing will happen to them they wont die. Who ever thought of this is a genius. I really hope that one day at the grocery store people will be using these instead of that deadly plastic. Imagine how many lives this would save and maybe even the G.P.G.P will stop expanding every year and we can take all of it out of the ocean because no more is plastic going into the ocean. Then the future generations will not have a problem with so much plastic in the ocean. We need more ideas like theses!

its cool and helpful how he tripled the uses by making it biodegradable, edible to many living things, and still unbreakable!

It is just amazing that these bags don't pollute the environment, I think this is a big step up to cleaning up our oceans, but the only problem is that it is a bit expensive and they say cassava is plentiful so it shouldn't be so expensive.(I couldn't watch on weebly and it said watch it on YouTube so I did, So the thing that I watched might be different.

Millions of plastic bags are produced each day and then thrown out a couple days after. When the bags are thrown out they either end up in the ocean or in a random hole in the earth called a landfill. What do you think will happen if this continues? Yep ,you guessed the Earth will be like a gigantic trashcan full of trash. At least I am not the only one that thought of this horrible problem. The man in the video did and probably a bunch of other people too. But, unlike other people the man in the video created a solution to the horrific problem. He created bags that usually are made of plastic but they aren't. Apparently these bags are made of cassava fruit that wears down and is drinkable. Drinkable! So far, there is no progress in this because still, I use plastic bags. But if this succeeds we may see a future of our Earth not being a gigantic trashcan full of trash. I believe in the cassava bag!
