What I learned is that the Terrafugia TF-X is a hybird and has a fixed wing street-legal aircraft with electric ground drive and electric power assist on takeoff and landing I also learned it will be able to recharge its batteries either from its engine or by plugging in to electric car charging stations. The 3rd third thing I learned is that vehicle will automatically notify authorities by “declaring an emergency” on behalf of the operator. Development of TF-X™ is expected to last 8-12 years. I also learned that it is capable of “auto-landing” at approved landing sites within approved weather limits. Lastly I learned that the Terrafugia can carry four people in car-like comfort, will have a range of at least 500 miles, will fit in a single car garage, and will be able to drive on roads and highways. There are many more things I learned but I don’t have enough time to list them all

I learned that the motor pods fold forward and can carry four people in car like comfort and much more. Also this REALLY helps me on the invention project because I'm doing flying cars. Everyone's dream of flying cars in the future might finally come true!

I also learned, "Prior to departure, the operator selects a primary target landing zone and backup landing zones. If the TF-X, the car, calculates insufficient energy on board to conduct last minute aborts at the first two sites and safely navigate to and land at the third within a 30 minute reserve, or if the forecast weather in any of the three landing zones would be outside the allowable limits, or if any of the selected landing zones are in temporarily restricted airspace (TFRs), departure will not be allowed until appropriate landing zones are selected."

This is a very interesting concept and I am very interested to see if their is another article updating this one to see if the people who made this made new features and updated it in any way. I'd like to conclude that I hope to eventually see this or any flying car in real life and that if I could, I would really like a test drive.

This is so awesome to see all of the new technology that we have today that we didn't have before. And it is even more awesome that we are starting to get technology to make flying cars and having them in our future as a possibility.
