Sometimes you win, and sometimes you learn. The athletes kept going because they knew, it was just as awarding to win, as to keep going. People respect hard work and persistence. That's why it's important to continue trying even after hardship. Athletes value the important things, so often, they will choose to keep going. Because they knew, difficult roads, often led to beautiful destinations. It's like when you are running the mile. You finish one lap, and you think to yourself, "That wasn't so bad!" And choose to continue. Once you finish the next lap, you think, "I'm already halfway done, why give up now?" And so you continue running, and by the third lap, you're like, "Hey, just one more lap, I can do this!" And so you finish the mile. The athletes must think to themselves, "Well, I already came this far, why give up now? All my hard work will be for nothing!" Or their thoughts might be, "Hey, I'm already in the Olympics and qualified for this competition. I might as well treat myself and continue." That is what motivated the athletes to try again.

I think the athletes got motivated by all the people around them cheering them on sure they might of been enbarest but they also might of thought I have trained so hard for years I am in the Olympics all of these people i have to keep on going. so they did I have to imagine it must have hurt for the girl that fell down and then a girl tripped over her and the man then had pulled a muscle but what is amazing about this video is the athletes every one that trained so hard and for so long that don't give up and I can even relate to these I mean not fully because I haven't been in the Olympics but I can.

I really like how these people didn't think about the bad things and giving up, they thought about the finish line and the end.

I feel that these athletes got back up to do this because they spent 4 YEARS training and didnt want to spend their 4 years on a DID NOT FINISH. It really tells you that, maybe you might be last, but atleast you got back up and ended up finishing. It truly is amazing and very inspiring.

wow!! I am so amazed really because these athletes are trained for Olympics or races, but they win sometimes and lose sometimes and even if they fail they keep going because he might gotten motivated by his fans and coach. The athletes kept going because they knew, it was just as awarding to win, as to keep going. People respect hard work and persistence. That's why it's important to continue trying even after hardship. I would have continued to run too, but I might not have the strength. These athletes are so strong. I watched on YouTube about the Paralympics and I got amazed by that too. you should also try to watch the videos too. This is amazing about this video is the athletes every one that trained so hard and for so long that don't give up. “Character consists of what you do on the third and fourth tries.” Have a winning mindset. “Winners never quit, and quitters never win. Keep yourself encouraged.

These athletes are amazing! They train for years and not even guaranteed to get a medal. Then they fail or get injured. Most people will give up at this point but these "superhumans" are able to persevere and get back and finish. They don't just sit there and give up. They get up or wait for help. Then they finish. I have a lot of respect for these pro athletes for these reasons.
