Hello Mr. Meyer and Class, My answer to the Essential Question would be the concept of "Relativity," relativity is the act to compare something to something else. In this case, as shown in the first video, the person taking the bus to work compared himself to the person using the bike, making them wish they wanted a bike, instead he should look at what you have and be grateful. I know it seems like I'm just restating the video, but the video is true, be grateful for what you have. Most certainly be grateful that you have an amazing teacher such as Mr. Meyer. I had Mr. Meyer when I was in 5th grade, I can most proudly say it was in my top 3 schooling years. Who knows, maybe one of these days you'll meet me in person. I hope that you, the students had a awesome and enjoyable school year, and I hope you finish it strongly!
From a former student, Jason!
Wow I loved the drawing for the first video and I think it has a message to be grateful for what you have.I liked how one wanted a helicopter, one wanted there dream car, one wanted a good car, one wanted a car, one wanted a bike, and at the end one wanted legs. For the second video I think the photographs look so cool and so realistic and the person who made the photos are so talented. In conclusion they are both good videos that I enjoy.
Wow different perspectives on things can change the way you see the world. Like in the video the one guy had something fancy but still wished for more. As it went down the line more people wished for better than what they had. The fancy car man should be grateful for having a fancy car. The others with cars should be thankful for their cars. The biker should be grateful for a way of transportation that is not his legs. The walker should be thankful he can walk, and the wheelchair person should be grateful he is alive. All of them should, yet they keep wishing for more. Something better than what they have like they can’t have what they do have. People have to learn to be more grateful. Please give me good rocks!!!!! Thank you!!!!
Oh and those pic are just wow like woooow!! It is amazing.( If I had time to do more I would)
I liked both videos a lot, but my favorite one was the"Be grateful for what you have!" I liked the video a lot because the video is so true. We, humans are always asking for more. If we have a fancy car you are still going to want something more. Meanwhile a person that can't afford to buy a car are probably going want one. And when that person who can't buy a car thinks that he is unfortunate eventhough there is someone who can't walk an looks at a person who walk and he thinks he unfortunate and the cycle continues. That is why you should enjoy your life as it because there is always going to be things that you are going to want in life. I liked the second video as well the TED. I liked it because people see daily objects and are still able to make something "magical" from them.
