What stood out to you? What surprised you?I Have a Dream" is a public speech that was delivered by American civil rights activist Martin Luther King Jr. during the March on Washington for Jobs and Freedom on August 28, 1963, in which he called for civil and economic rights and an end to racism in the United States. Delivered to over 250,000 civil rights supporters from the steps of the Lincoln Memorial in Washington, D.C., the speech was a defining moment of the civil rights movement and among the most iconic speeches in American history.

O Martin Luther King is a very inspirational person He made a bunch of different articles books and helped people fight with love, and not with weapons, or hate And she also wrote bunch of letters to other states to see what was happening through his state. He wrote a bunch of them to every other state to help him stop segregation when he has enough of the vote he went to Washington DC and had a big I had a green speech what is the most popular speeches to this day That Martin is a very successful and perseverance person if they brought them he would just keep trying if they arrested one of his colleagues, he would just keep trying they just kept trying and trying to boycott and not ride the bus for a long time so they would have to take away the bus because the bus was going down and money and also walk for miles and miles to stop. That’s why I think Martin was a very persevering person and never gave up. He just keep trying, and he never brought the world punches. He was f***ed, and his dad said the same thing to him when he was younger, even though people that he was disgrace, and nobody liked him, he still persevered, and made sure he did what’s right for the world

I watched this video at home before you even showed it to us and just really like everything that was in it. One that I know from memory because of a song I listen to from an artist named tobymac it's the quote that says "one day this nation will rise up" and then he says even more about it after and then the one about the I have a dream that my three little boys will be able to live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin but by their character. I think that's like a reference to don't judge a book by its cover. Everything is says is very moving. It's no wonder he led all of the boycotts and protests and all of that. All in all that was a great speech that moved me.

This speech will forever be the best speech in the world. This speech stop segregation. If he never was born, they would still be slaves. They would still be whites and blacks separated to this day without the speech none of us will be where we are today because without whites and blacks coming together my PS4, I wouldn’t hear my iPad won’t be here my phone wouldn’t it be here whites and blacks would not even be in the same school as each other. What motivated Dr. King to do all of this is because he wanted his family to live a normal life where they weren’t judged by the color of their skin they were gonna be judged by their character, Dr. King was getting death threats people were saying he’s going to die in two years, but that didn’t stop and he didn’t just give it like most people would, and try to protect themselves he didn’t care he wanted whites and blacks to come together and be nice. and, like I said, if Dr. King was not born, the world would be corrupted it would be very broken. It would be very rude why The whites and blacks couldn’t even play with each other back then that’s how cruel it was what would you do if you were back then I will be with Dr. King I’ll be like his bodyguard or something so he didn’t die so early could’ve done way more he didn’t die he could’ve done a way more. He didn’t give up when his house bombed when people wanted to fight, he told him no no no no no use love when he got hit with a brick he didn’t get up and throw it back. He kept walking. Yes he was probably mad, but he was thinking if he got up and did something he would’ve went to jail and also Martin Luther King Junior went to jail multiple times trying to stop segregation
