People would practice this because if a vase cracks they don't glue the piece of art back together, they make it look like they added the gold lines one purpose to give the base some pop of color.

People would practice this skill because they don't want it to look like they just glued the pieces back together. They try to make it look like the gold lines are suppose to be there.

They would practice kintsugi because it is very practical when accidentally breaking things. You wouldn't have to throw out something that was really expensive and pretty, you would get to make it even prettier.

People would practice kintsugi because instead of throwing the old things out, they would restore the objects beauty and make it more valuable. It makes the piece more complex and artistic like the gold lines were meant to be there.

They didn't want to waste there broken china just because it was broken. They decided that they can make the cracks even more beautiful.

People probably practiced this skill because the want to make it look like it is supposed to be gold lines there. There were not supposed to be good lines there, downing broke it and doesn't want to through it away. To sum it up, people practice this skill so the gold lines look like it is supposed to be there

I think the people that do this I trying to say that everyone's imperfections make some better. Since were all different are imperfections are what separates us.

They would practice this because when vases would crack they would not trash it they would make it even better by filling the cracks in with gold

they would make every thing better. they did that by filing in the cracks with gold.

They practice so if something breaks they add the gold lines and it is fixed and it looks gorgeous.
