the main idea is how amazon let out an up an up date that responds to fouses differently. like if a kid asked how are baby are made Alex will say how are baby made it will say people make people. but if an adult asked it it would tell them. the update also inclods the ability to add pepellent controls.

I think this articles main ideas were getting new upgrades on the Alexa to teach kids to use manners and so that the parents can see what their kid do on the Alexa. When kids ask Alexa a math problem nicely Alexa will then say "By the way, thanks for asking so nicely. Also parents can see their kids' Alexa activity, and review the youngster's voice recordings in the app.

In this article, the main idea is about how Alexa now has Freetime for Alexa and is now kid safe! I know this because 1 detail is "Soon, the voice inside the Echo will be extra nice to kids with good manners."

The central Idea is that Kids are being rude to Alexa, and amazon is trying to fix that. I know this because in the text it says that ...............

The passage Kids are being Rude to Alexa, the main idea of the passage is that they are making a new Alexa that is kid friendly and teaches kids to be polite. I know this because in the text it said that the kids are not being polite to Alexa, so they made a new Alexa that is kid friendly. It also turns off when it is the kids bedtime. The parents can change it if a old kid or an adult needs to use it. I know this because in the text it says,"They can also limit to there kids bedtime." These are the details that show me the main idea. :)

My main idea is echo dot Alexa's can now be protected and using more kids answers, like maybe you should go ask your parents. Also, parents can put up something called free time and when free time is on Alexa will answer questions and put on songs for kids ears. When free time is off you will get more grown up answers from amazon Alexa. Then, now parents can make sure there is better words and language from Alexa's.

I think the main idea is, how the Amazon Alexa is changing. I think this because "FreeTime Unlimited includes age-appropriate books, videos, and games." Another reason is," Such control on Echo speakers will let parents block voice purchases by kids." That is why I think that is the main idea.

I think the central idea of the passage is that, Amazon is trying to make children polite and kind, by making Alexa go to more detail about things for children to better understand, and made Alexa more like a friend rather than just a robot. It says that Alexa gives just plain answers to adults but to the kids, Alexa goes into much detail about the subject. If the child has personal issues, Alexa gives some advice so she can help the child. This is the main idea.

I think the main idea is that devices like the Alexa can be more kid friendly with hard work. Reason one is it says when a adult asks a question it says the exact answer . But when a kid asks a question it answers it and tells you a lot more . Also if a kid talks polite to it instead of being rude it can reward it by saying thanks for talking so polite . One last reason is parents can control how long there kids are on it , What there doing , what there saying and even they can control what music they can listen to . That proves the company is working really hard to make all these things happen . But in conclusion it will turn out more kid friendly and safer

that is awesome how they chose to re program Alexa to be more approachable! i like how Alexa will give us kids advice for every day problems, weather if it's about school or everyday life it's nice. i think it is smart to give an adult the straight answer, while a kid gets lots more facts about the question. it's nice that Alexa will complement you when you ask nice or say something nice. i'm glad that amazon updated there soft ware to be more helpful and kind!

I think that the main idea of the article that kids are being mean to Alexa but by having a kid-appropriate Alexa (feature) this will create a more polite and kid friendly atmosphere. One detail to support this is that in the text it says, " They ask, "Alexa, please tell me what 5 plus 7 is." The voice inside the Echo will supply the right answer. But, it will also say: "By the way, thanks for asking so nicely." This shows that instead of just giving the correct answer, the Alexa will appreciate the tone of the child's voice. Another detail is " It's considered a dwarf planet by scientists. Just because you're small, though, doesn't mean you're not important." This shows how by Alexa showing kindness to kids, it created a better perspective by the kid.

I think the central idea of the article is about alexa getting an upgrade for more kid friendly content and making kids more polite with parents having control over what they can do. my first text evidence is " let's say a kid asks Alexa a math problem. They ask, "Alexa, please tell me what 5 plus 7 is." The voice inside the Echo will supply the right answer. But, it will also say: "By the way, thanks for asking so nicely." the reason I picked this as an example is because it helps kids be more polite by saying please. it is also a great rewarding system. my second one is "Such controls on Echo speakers will let parents block voice purchases by the kids. They can also filter explicit song lyrics, and choose the content the kids can listen to or the Alexa "skills" they can take advantage of." this tells me that parents can make sure kids can not have the power of searching bad things up and waste money. my main thought of this is so parents can keep kids safe from doing bad things. this is what I think the main idea of the text, KIDS WERE BEING RUDE TO ALEXA, SO AMAZON UPDATED IT is.

The central idea of the article Kids were being rude to Alexa is that amazon is making new features to Alexa so, kids will hopefully stop this. An example from the article is " Soon, Alexa will exhibit positive reinforcements for good manners." I know this is a change because the word "soon" means it will happen in the future. Also when it says " The answer is different when a kid asks. If the kid asks the same question Alexa will list all of the planets. then Alexa will go on some more. I know this is a change because this is not happening right now. In conclusion the central idea of the article is Kids are being to Alexa is amazon is making changes to Alexa so this will stop.

I love that Amazon is helping kids and Alexa learn more and they can stop being rude to Alexa by learning manners through her. I thought this was a interesting topic because Alexa is telling kids things in a different way instead of a "adult" way.

the main idea of this article is that kids should be nice to people. even tho Alexa is a robot, that doesn't mean that we should be rude to her so you can learn manners so you can communicate better!

I feel like the new Alexa is a good idea. It teaches kid's good manner which has been going down dramatically. I know this because I'm a kid, but sometimes kids ask Alexa inappropriate questions or even cuss at her, so I think the part where you can check there voice recording is a good idea.

I think the main idea is that kids were being mean to Alexa so they changed it. One detail is that kids were cursing and being inappropriate to Alexa. Another detail is Alexa didn't know if there was a kid or parent was talking so Alexa might give an inappropriate response. Then that kid would learn to say the inappropriate word or words.

When reading "kids were being rude to Alexa" I learned that the new mindset of gratitude and respect is important. Now kids can also be in a kinder healthier mindset, and respond to people more respectfully. The main idea of the artical is to teach people to use a more respectful and kinder attitude. By doing so they also learn they get rewarded with Alexa, by the behavior getting pointed out. This memory is stored in the mind he or she knows to do it next time.
