A question I have had for this article while reading it is why and how are sea levels rising? If sea levels are rising, doesn't that mean that we have more water?

salt water is more difficult to purify than fresh water. it costs more money so most people do not try. it would be ok if it was river levels.

In this article the kids see that climate change is a big problem. Two of these kids spoke in front of the Chicago school Bord. When the kids spoke they said that kids should learn about wildfires and droughts so they can be aware what climate change is and how it affects the earth but also what they can do about it.

I love how kids from ages 6-18 are taking action on globe warming. Globe warming is and will affect our future. It is even affecting us right now. For example the 2018 camp fire was one of the most deadest wild fires in California 's history. Kids have to miss school for three weeks. Globe warming is making it's move now it is the time to make ours.

I think this article is interesting and some what inspirational(stick with me). It is interesting because so many kids (Emerson, Greta, ect.) are taking action before most of the adults do. They're KIDS! Kids like me, or Ashley, or Joey S., or Charlie and Aiden. They are taking action, not people like the $@ING president! OR, ooh ooh I got a good one! PRETTY MUCH EVERY IMPORTANT ADULT ON THE PLANET. This is inspirational because, like I said, they're kids! I always thought that climate change was unstoppable! But now, I look at it through new eyes and see we can stop it, but we would need to DO SOMETHING!

I think that kids are age and adoults should speak out about Climate changne because... Climate change is the gradual warming of the temperatures on Earth. As temperatures rise, sea levels are also rising. This is also called global warming. Droughts are becoming more common in some regions, while other places are experiencing increased flooding. Different parts of the world will experience the effects of climate change in different ways. Those are just a couple ways climate change is changeing the world I think those are some small reasons but they can still make a big impact on the world. Climate change is something we need to find a way to stop. That is why kids are age and adoults should speak out.

We need to take action in climate change ASAP, other wise some people are probably going to die from it. We should talk to our government and tell them to stop climate change. It is definitely going to affect us in the future.

I really enjoyed this article because it exaggerates the fact that young kids are taking action on climate change. This proves to everyone, including Congress, that climate change is a major problem, if kids as young as 8 are protesting and speaking about it. I loved the new insights and encouraging yet strong words each kids used. I think they are world changers, just like us! One of my favorite parts, was the words on the sign they were holding up, to protest. The sign read, "We are missing our lessons, so we can teach you one." This is a statement that is full of truth and strength. The fact that these kids have experienced the deadly consequences of climate change, just makes their arguments more powerful, captivating, and believable. Overall, this was an extremely interesting article.

Something that really inspired me was that little kids, as well as older kids, and their families are reAlly trying to solve this climate change problem. A surprising thing that reaLly shocked me was when the family literally had to where masks because the air was too smoky! I really think that these childrEn should keep doing their fair share of making our country a better place. Now if only our government did theirs...

I thought it was interesting that these two kids school was closed for 3 weeks because of a wild fire (i thought it was also sad) but still after that even that they were able to talk about the experiance a little 2nd grader with stage fright was able to say what happened and be able to change the world and inform people what is happening and what happened to them at that wildfire.

I have one quetsion for congress; aren't you supposed to make us better? You guys are supposed to because it's your job. My opinion on climate chenge is that it is a thing that we can stop for the better, but we don't choose to do that. I find that RIDICULOUS!!! All that the congress has to do is get their head in the game and step up to solving a problem that they helped cause. The article even says" "Another idea in the resolution calls for a plan to move to 100 percent clean energy. This would pave the way for solar, wind and hydroelectric energy. Hydroelectric energy is produced when dams and rivers release water. The resolution asks Congress to support clean energy and the environment." Another idea in the resolution calls for a plan to move to 100 percent clean energy. This would pave the way for solar, wind and hydroelectric energy. Hydroelectric energy is produced when dams and rivers release water. The resolution asks Congress to support clean energy and the environment." Most people agree with me. Parent-Teacher accosiacians, student concils, and other educational groups agree with my perspective.
