what I learned is that if you can tell the angle is less 90 degrees you have to use the outside numbers on the protractor to get the right amount of degrees when measuring with a half circle protractor.

Wow! That made it much easier. I also didn't know there was a certain way to measure like use the outside numbers to measure angles less then 90 degrees. I am so glad Mr. Meyer put that up for everyone to see. I think everyone who needs help with protractor should watch this great and helpful video. So really thank you Mr. Meyer for putting the video up.

I learned that the vertex is the middle letter in angle labeling. In angle ARO the vertex is R.

Protracts are such a helpful tool. Most of the time a am way off by a miles when I guess the degrees of the angle, but having this tool helps me get the right answer. It nice how it only take a few seconds to use!
