This was so persuasive! A great strategy that Greta used was calling out the leaders for pretty much lying to their countries saying everything is fine. She also said "You have ignored us in the past and you will ignore us again. We have run out of excuses and we are running out of time." , This is pretty much saying that they are trying to avoid this problem even though soon we won't be able to fix it. In addition Greta stated that the world leaders aren't mature enough to tell people about our problem. Greta gives many examples about how children have to do many things to help fix climate change. This is absurd! Children shouldn't have to fix a world that adults messed up let alone doing it while these people stand around and watch our planet get destroyed. Greta herself is only 15! Next, Greta states that the world leaders are afraid of being "unpopular". I agree! These people want to make sure they are "popular", they don't care about our world only their selves. Finally, Greta says " You say you love your children above all else, and yet you are stealing their future in front of their very eyes." This is so powerful! It makes the people think about their children. They aren't trying to ruin their child's/children's future. But Greta makes them realize that they are. I think this will encourage world leaders to do more to undo climate change. In conclusion, I think that Greta is amazing and that her speech is very powerful.

I think that the way that Greta Thunberg delivered this speech was very amazing, because it was in a way that I don't think anyone has seen before. She called out the important people for everything they did wrong, and I really think that is an extremely effective way to get then to fix the problem. If they don't try and fix the problem that they actually were a part of starting they would be seen as a bad person, and like they don't care much for what they do, and people will want to find a solution to the problem. I think that the way Greta executed her speech was very smart.

I think this is very persuasive because she uses peer pressure to pressure the people listening by saying they are not machure and I also like how she ended her speech. This person is very inspirational.

I think Greta being only 15 years old and talking to world leaders, is something she should never forget. I think Greta should be very proud of herself. Knowing that they're going to be millions of people listening and watching and maybe disagreeing with her speech is very brave of her. That shows me that she is very determined about her topic she is speaking about. I think what she is doing at such a young age is amazing. I think Greta has a high chance of little kids looking up to her one day.

I think that the way that Greta Thunberg delivered this speech was very smart, and persuasive, because she called out the leaders for pretty much lying about this huge problem, and putting it off for so long to the point that it got so much worse, and the reason that the leaders would have to act upon the problem after Greta's speech, is because it was very eye-opening for all the people who watched it, and they would've realized what the leaders have done, like lying, and not acting to change the problem, and people are going to get angrier and angrier if they don't try and fix it quickly, because people will see it as their faults, which made Greta's speech so much more pressuring against them.

In my opinion, Greta Thungberg speech was very smart. Instead of lying, complaining, and not solving this problem like the leaders mostly did, she talked about the problem and ways to solve it. It is amazing how a girl can be more honest and understanding then all the leaders that know more.

Now that i watched this video i realized how much more passionate she was last time. Still being able to speak up is incredible. I really liked what she did and it might make a difference. If more people speak up, we might do something. We might make a change. I hope we do. I don't think i could even=r do what Greta did 15 years old or not. I am glad someone is standing up, even if it a kid. Even if it wasn't an adult. At least someone is says something.
