I agree with julia the radar can help people be prepared. for example once they know where the tornado is they can warn people.

for the second video; since the people did not have much materials they used the broken stuff to rebuild.

The radar is helpful because if you don't know when a tornado is coming nobody will be prepared.

I think the radar is used to track the tornado so they can warn the right people.

Because the EF5 tornado killed 11 people and 97% of the buildings, the town rebuilt green.

Because the tornado was a EF5, the whole town of Greensburg was completely wiped out.

I think it is an awesome idea to take debris and turn into building materials. This just proves even more people take there challenges and some how make them useful in a way.

That is awesome that the city is building a new city that is way more energy efficient. I think that after the tornado hit, they realized that they shouldn't be taking Mother Nature for granted. Everything about the way this city wanted to recover and reconstruct is spectacular. They didn't think "let's just build using whole new materials". The engineering was smart, such as having transparent roofs so that they didn't have to turn on the lights, or recycling old materials from wrecked buildings. I believe that every city should be like this one.
