i learned that there are 2 garbage patches in the Pacific ocean. 1 of them is small and one of them is bigger then the other..

A fact about the the garbage dump is that there are 80% of plastic, and the sun makes the plastic into smaller pieces, which are called nurdles.

I am on team garbage patch. I learned that if you tried to scoop out all the plastic in the garbage patch, It would take you 1 year to get 1% of it out.

I learned that only 10% of all the plastic waste goes into the ocean but 80% of ocean trash is plastic.

I learned that if the trash left outside with the sun it becomes smaller and is more effective on the animals that eat it because shrimp get stuck on it

i learned just how big of a deal the great pacific garbage patch is! i thought it was just a bit of trash in the ocean, now, i know it is much worse than that.

I am on team garbage patch. One thing I learned about the deadzone was that It is cased by two elements of the periodic table.
