Volcanoes cause the earth's surface to change over time when they erupt. Mt st Helena's eruption went in to the water and it filled in the area so there was only a little left.

Wind can cause erosion over time to rocks and can make cool shapes(in the desert) and water can create canyons when a river slowly erodes the rock.

land slides change the earth's surface. They change it because when the ground is not level and the trees and everything slide and rips everything up on its way down. Then the earth's texture and looks are different. That is how land slides change the earth's surface.

Wow! I loved the hoodoos (Is that how you spell it?)! Wind changes the Earths surface because it creates sand dunes and hoodoos and many more things that change the Earth's surface!!!

valcaneos change the earth surfaces by filling up the oceans with malting rocks and lava that makes the oceans not as deep as usually.

From the video I learned that runoff carries rocks, dirt, and pollution Also floods can cause damage and make people lose their homes.

I learned that water erodes the rock. The water does this by crashing into the rock and forcing it to go in the ocean.

It takes a long time to change the surface of the earth though.

We got to be ready for floods and hurricanes. With meteorologists predicting the weather we are safer.

There are lots of hurricanes, tornados and more. Even though we live in the part of the world where this really happens it still happens in other parts of the world.

A mass of slow destruction is the one and only glacier. Though slow, they can rip up the whole ground.

I saw that water erosion took away land and rock while volcano explosions added more land by the lava cooling and hardening. Water erosion happens over time and volcano explosions happen quickly and make new land quickly.

Active volcanoes can change the Earth's surface dramatically. The islands of Hawaii are shaped up by lava from volcanoes.
