I watched this video AND showed it to my parents and they thought it was a very clever idea to monitor the rate of Bald Eagles, it is a great idea to monitor that so the Bald Eagle population doesn't drop like it did before.

I am so glad you shared this with your parents. You are helping to educate others about a serious problem. When more people know, they can make more informed decisions. Thanks for making a difference!

I watched this again and saw that when the mother leaves, she gives her babies like a pep-talk on how to behave while she's gone. When the mother comes back, the babies are waiting patiently for the food she has brought. This shows great leadership and patience. Also, when the babies look like they are about to fall or are heading towards the edge, the mother moves the twig that the baby is on, to pull them back away from the edge of the nest. To add, the mother is selfless. I noticed that the mother waits until the babies are done with their share of the food, then only takes a little for herself. Next, when the wind starts to rock the tree, the mom holds onto the branch that her children are on and cares and gives them support so that they don't get scared. If I were in that situation I would be jumping and making matters worse for the nest and most likely fall over board. After that, when the kids go to sleep the mother stays awake to protect and acre for the young ones. She seems to be a great mother with the way that she is caring for her kids. One the other hand, the children always seem to get into trouble. For example, one of the eagles was trying to fly while the mother was on the ground getting food. The bird was on the last branch and then the mom came back just in time so the bird was safe. This mother has tough yet adorable kids that are troubling, but the bald eagle seems to handle her young well. To conclude, this mother is friendly and patient and selfless. She also knows how to keep her kids from going bonkers while she's away.

I love how the mama was watching over her babies like a guardian angel.
