Daedalus got inspired by how the breeze swept away pieces of icarus` models, he managed to make 2 pairs of wings and they flew off. Sadly icarus died but became the man who flew in the sky.

Daedalus observed the birds. He first saw how easy it was for them to fly away from the island and that was his goal. So he figured out that the power of flying gave the birds the gift to go wherever they wanted. As a result , he studied their wings. Then he mimicked the wings with feathers, wax and tree branches to fly away from the island.

Daedalus observed the birds fly away from the island easily so he got an idea off of that. He then created wings and used them to escape the island. That is how they used nature to escape the island.

This myth is really cool. It is telling kids that ideas are all around you because Daedalus was looking at the birds an dhow they move. This helped him to be free. The son sadly didn't make it because he was not listening. This also teaches kids to listen because anything can happen if you don't.

The question that the asked was how d birds fly. Once they got the answer to that question they figured out how to escape. They used nature by finding feathers on the beach and take branches from the trees to make their wings.
