In the first video if you were rich you would have a large house and plantation. You would dress all neat and tidy. Boys would go to school. Girls would go to school to learn to pray know the alphabet and sow and knit.

I never knew that poor colonial children only had maybe one pair of clothes and one pair of shoes. Also they usually have not so nice houses. But the rich families wore fancy wigs and nice clothes also they had a nice house with slaves in it working for them.

One thing that surprised me is the games. The way it surprised me is how alike these games are to modern day sports. I have two examples, the first one is the game where they hit a ball with a bat or stick into a bunch of other kids to catch. This game is very similar to modern day baseball. The other example is the game where they roll a ball into pins to try to knock them down. This game is closely alike to the game bowling. I also have a question, how do they make these materials to play these games? Also, do they have names?

It is so different how kids lived back in the 1700s and nowadays. Like for clothing, a rich child might wear a wig and velvet pants for boys and girls might wear gowns and high heels. However poor children or slaves wore ragged clothing and barely any kids learned to read and write. But fancy kids learned subjects like arithmetic and reading and writing.
