I read the article about the ancient Mayan city found in Guatemala. The mystery was how over 10,000,000 people were able to fit in that forest covered city. I believe that part of the ancient city was destroyed by natural disasters. Guatemala can be hit by hurricanes, tsunamis, landslides, floods, and volcanic eruptions, among others. If the city was hit by one of these disasters, the could've destroyed part of the city, and the Mayans, well, they could have fled or tragically pass away because of the storm. Another theory is that the Mayans got into a feud with another city, which led to war. The opposition burned or destroyed part of the city, before the residents of the Mayan city counter attacked.

Deep in the Mosquitia jungle, a lost civilization was found. I believe that all of its inhabitants died. this Caused the area to get old and mossy because no one was living there.

In the laser story, the lasers discovered that the place had more than 10 million people. Almost three or four times bigger than they thought.

Ok, this is the REAL ANONYMOOSE! My sister Actually had to do summer book thing on this city! The book was cal-LEd the "Lost City of the Monkey God". I think this was really cool because it was actually real, instead of what the guy said, "I think its just a myth". Some teXt to support that this really is the same thing is, the first paragraph of the book is literally, deep in HONDURAS in a region called La Mosquitia, is lie some of the last unexplored places on earth. Mosquitia is a vast lawless area covering about thirty-two thousand square miles, a land of rainforests, swamps, lagoons, rivers, and mountains. Early maps labeled it the "Portal del Infierno" or "Gates of Hell", because it was so FORBIDDING. The area is one of the most dangerous in the world, for centuries frustrating efforts to PENETRATE and EXPLORE it. Even now, in the twenty-first century, hundreds of square miles of the Mosquitia rainforest remain scientifically UNINVESTIGATED! This proves that maybe the team wasn't able to get through the Gates of Hell!

The mystery was that a civilization was hidden in the Guatimalla forests. People found it by using lazers that are called "LiDAR." I think that the people were scared that technology would take over beause they saw that people started worshiping technology. They also might worship omething else like a god.

the plane lasers are amazing they scan the whole forest and under all the trees are all these hills that are actually buildings. Also all of the fields behind the buildings are crazy. They scan about 70,070 square miles. they aren't even 100% sur they scanned all of the town.

The white city!! That sounds like something in a fairy tale. This city is a myth. It seems found in the Honduran Jungle. For many years people thought this place was a myth, but Chris Fisher believed it was real. So he and a team of people went out to find it. They looked all over and after a few days they found something. It was not what they were hoping for, but it was some thing special.

I think that it might of been just made because why was it not found before or the arkuolajust is just seeing things they said that Phil sees different things then we do we might not see it but he does or we dee something like a normal town but he sees a amazing town. I think that people who explore the world might have build this town because that liked the forest so much they wanted to build a city but then they left to explore some were else and forgot about the city or lost were it is at and then other people found it and clamed it the lost city. Really in all it was never lost maybe the explores did not like it any more so they don't know if it is the lost city.

The mystery is where did the civilization go? I think that the civilization left because it was too hot there and all of the water just disappeared by how hot it was. It was a desert so they didn't have much water especially because the population was very high so because it was hot both the water evaporated into the air and the people there drank some of it too. That is why I think the civilization vanished and didn't come back.

A colony called the Anasazi just mysteriously dissapeared. The text says, "The Anasazi lived here for more than 1,000 years. Then, within a single generation, they were gone. Between 1275 and 1300 A.D., they stopped building entirely, and the land was left empty." I think the whole colony got tired of living in that one place, so they just stopped building in that kand, than just moved on. I also think that when the drought came, there were many diseases, so, many people died. All of the people could have died, or, there wasn't enough water that they just moved. There are many possibilities, but I personally think that when a lot of people's family died, they wanted to find a good place that rarely had droughts, and start a new life and family. I also know that being in a drought is rough. It says, "I've been in this desert when the springs were dry. I know what it's like to not have enough water. I've sucked on balls of damp clay scrounged from a dried mud pit. I've filtered water through my teeth, drinking out of sun-warmed pools that taste like dirty aquariums." This means that there wasn't a lot of water, and if there was water, it would be hot and non-purified. This could also be a reason why the Anasazi moved away.

The mystery is that Chris Fisher and other people have found a city in the woods but they do not know what happened. I think that the people that lived there got wiped out by a sickness and the all died.

You should post a video about Pavlopetri. That was an ancient Greek city that was submerged under water after an earthquake, and every thing is completely intact, just like the day it was submerged. Graveyards, schools, healing places, and whole temples were brought under the water.

The southern civilization vanished unknown. I think it did because of a drought and lack of water.

"By raining down laser pulses on some 770 square miles of dense forest in northern Guatemala, archaeologists have discovered 60,000 Maya structures that make up full sprawling cities." A new technology provides scientists to discover and up serve hidden Maya cities under Guatemala Forest!!
