For me, this math lesson was actually sort of easy. Although I did not attempt this on the unit 4 pre-test, after I learned the strategies, the lesson was easy. This video helped me with multiplying decimals because it brought a new light to my eyes, a new strategy you hinted at in class (by hinted I mean told us straight up). Also, it told us how to DIVIDE DECIMALS. What grade are we supposed to learn the Mr. Meyer??? To get serious, multi digit division is tough, I'll give Rob that, but a decimal dividend doesn't make it much harder. Just carry out a standard multi step division, but remember to put the decimal point exactly where it was in the dividend. But, when it has a decimal divisor, it throws standard procedure nearly out the window. Like the multiplication, you shift the divisor's decimal point the amount of times it needs to become a whole number. For the dividend, you shift the decimal point the same amount of times you did in the divisor. Whats really cool is that your new problem has the same answer as the original one. SEE YA'LL TOMORROW!!!!!!!!
